No Joy In League Final


Sat 19th May County Senior League Final De La Salle 0-13 Gailltir 2-14.

Panel on the night was:

Other panel members but were unavailable for the final were Siobhain Heylin, Rosin Heylin, Shannon Denton, Clara Boland, Caoimhe Drohan & Tonya Murray. Mentors: Joey Carton Decky Drohan & Derek Healy.  Physio: Bryan Kennedy.

Mon 14th May U-18 B championship Abbeyside 0-0 De La Salle 5-19.

Tues 22nd May U-14 A 1/4 Final  DLS v Abbeyside throw in 7pm in Gracedieu. 

Sat 26th May U-18 B championship DLS v Tramore throw in 6pm in Gracedieu

Weds 30th May U-12 blitz on in the WIT Sports Campus Carriganore. Time tbc.

Our Camogie clubs fundraising Walk will take place on Weds 23rd May from the Greenway car park Carriganore meeting there @ 6.20pm walking back to our clubhouse in Gracedieu starting @ 6.30pm. Please support.

Congrats and well done to Lucy Hogan who was a member of the Munster camogie squad who won the Shield competition of the Camogie Interprovincials on Sun 20th May. Munster defeated Ulster 0-13 to 0-8.

Minors In Action


The Clubs U18 Team played their final round of the 2018 U18 B County Championship on Thursday last V Dungarvan but unfortunately were beaten by a very strong Dungarvan side. In this Championship the girls recorded wins over Butlerstown and Cappoquin and beaten by Modeligo and Dungarvan so unfortunately didn't qualify for the semi final stages. as this is a very young minor side most of the girls are eligable to play in the U16 Championship in August.

U12 Blitz

The Clubs U12's will take part in an u12 blitz to take place in Carriganore tonight Wednesday at 7pm.

The Denny Buckley Senior League

The Clubs Senior Camogie Team played Gaultier on Saturday May 12th in the The Denny Buckley Senior League Semi Final but unfortunately were beaten on a score line of Gaultier 1-17  Lismore 2-08. The girls will start their Championship campaign in August.

TOWERS AND TALES 

Members of Lismore Camogie Club were volunteering to help out for the annual Towers and Tales event hosted by Lismore Castle  Saturday May 5th. The Club were selling tickets for a hamper kindly donated by Lismore Castle Estates proceeds to go towards the Juvenile Camogie Teams Training Equipment Fund. 

The draw took place in the courtyard of the castle with castle Butler Denny Nevin on the evening.

OLD CLOTHES AND TEXTILE RECYCLING

It's that time of year again to tidy out those hot presses and wardrobes in time for our summer. Lismore Camogie Club are once again are gathering your old and used clothing and textiles , shoes , handbags and belts as their fundraiser. The Club are hoping to have their collection towards the end of June/early July. So please remember to keep us in mind when doing your Spring Clean.

Alannah Helps Waterford to Glory in Limerick


Well done to our club girl Alannah McNulty who was a member of the Waterford U-14 County Squad who won the Limerick blitz played on Sat 28th April. 

Results:

U-18 B Championship R2 Portlaw 1-3 DLS 7-19.

U-14 Championship R3 Dungarvan 1-0 DLS 3-3.

County Senior League Round 2 DLS 7-17 Tramore 2-4.
