Camogie Victory in Dubai

Congratulations to club member Niamh Prendergast who captained her team Sharja, Dubai to victory in the Middle East Camogie League last week. Its great to see that our club is being represented in foreign lands and especially one of our own to be captain of a victorious team.

Indoor Camogie

Indoor camogie will commence for junior infants right up to 4^th classes after the Halloween break. The following are the times allotted for training:

Junior/Senior Infants commencing on Thursday November 5^th and every Thursday there after – 4pm to 5pm – trainer – Nicola Morrissey

1^st /2^nd classes commencing Thursday November 5^th and every Thursday there after 5-30pm to 6-30pm – trainers – Emily Heneghan and Oliva Flynn

3^rd /4^th classes commencing Wednesday November 4^th at 3-30pn to 4-30pm. These classes will be getting special coaching sponsored by the Munster Camogie Council for six weeks leading up to Christmas from a college student aided by Shauna Prendergast an Caithriona McGlone.

U13 League

By the time you are reading this paper, our u13’s will have played their final round of the u13 league which took place yesterday Tuesday V Gall Tir. (EDIT: Check with clubs re the starting time if you want to go to the game tomorrow evening). A win in this round for the girls would mean that they would be in the County Final against Gall Tir

Munster Intermediate Club Championship

Lismore have got a bye to the Munster Final on November 14^th. Their opponents will be the winners of the Brian Dillon’s (Cork) V Cahir (Tipperary) game which will take place on November 1^st at a venue to be confirmed.

Féile na nGael 2016

Waterford and Tipperary are hosting the 2016 Féile from 17^th to 19^th June 2016. There will be an information meeting for clubs on Thursday 15^th October in Lawlors Hotel, Dungarvan at 8pm 2016 for this very exciting and busy year for our U14’s.
