De La Salle begin with a win

Well done to our Intermediate girls sponsored by Dunphy's, Castle Shop, Cork Road, who recorded a good win in there 1st round game away to Dungarvan-Brickeys played on Sat 16th April in the clubs first ever game at this level. The feature of this game was that we had 10 different girls on the score sheet and the backs conceding just 1 score.

Our U-16 girls had a good win at home v Brickeys in round 1 of the championship.

Our U-12 girls played in the 1st round of blitzes on Sat 16th April in Clonea Power. We played 3 good games against the host's Clonea, St Annes & Portlaw. Our girls recorded 2 wins & 1 defeat.

The U-14 round 1 game away v Portlaw was cancelled due to an unplayable pitch.

Feile 2016 launch takes place in Ballymacabry on Thurs 21st April @ 7.30pm.

Congrats and well done to our club player Hayley Cox who played with Carlow IT in there recent success in winning the Intervarsities Soccer Competition played in Athlone.

 

Training :

U-8, U-10 & U-12 on Weds 20th April @ 7pm in Gracedieu.

U-14s  on Saturday 23rd April @ 12noon in Gracedieu.

U-16, 18, & Intermediate on Weds 13th April @ 7.30pm in Gracedieu.

Newcomers are always more than welcome to participate.

 

Registration:

This is now due for season 2016. Please forward on to your mentors asap. Age groups: U-12 downwards €35, 13 years upwards €45 & family €80.

 

Club Fixtures:

U-8 & U-10 blitzes round 1 re-scheduled to Sat 7th May in Ferrybank.

U-14 B Championship round 2 on Tues 26th April home to Dungarvan throw in 6.30pm.

U-16 A Championship round 2 on Tues 19th April away to St Annes.

U12 blitzes round 2 on Sat 30th April in Gailltir @ 10.30am.

Intermediate round 2 home to Ferrybank date tbc.
