De La Salle Camogie Club are Club Of The Year:

De La Salle Camogie Club was announced 2015 Waterford Camogie Club Of The Year at the recent County Board meeting held in Lawlors Hotel Dungarvan on Tuesday 29th March. A big congrats to everyone within our club both on & off the field for all the commitment shown since our 1st participation in Waterford Camogie championships u12c & u14c grades in 2009.

Training :

U-8, U-10 & U-12 on Weds 6th April @ 6.30pm in Gracedieu.

U-14s  on Monday 4th April @ 6.30pm in Gracedieu.

U-16, 18, & Intermediate on Monday 4th April @ 7.30pm in Gracedieu.

Newcomers are always more than welcome to participate.

Registration:

This is now due for season 2016. Please forward on to your mentors asap. Age groups : U12 downwards €35, 13 years upwards €45 & family €80.

Club Fixtures:

U-8 & U-10 blitzes round 1 on Sat 9th April in Ferrybank.

U-14 B Championship round 1 on Tues 12th April away to Portlaw-Roanmore.

U-16 A Championship round 1 on Tues 5th April home to Brickeys throw in 6.30pm in Gracedieu.

Intermediate League round 1 away to Dungarvan on Sun 10th April @ 11.30am.

U-12 blitzes round 1 on Sat 16th April in Portlaw.

Feile 2016:

We will host the Laois champions (Portlaoise). Also in our group will be Portlaw-Roanmore & the 2nd placed team in the Roscommom Feile. All this will take place on the weekend of 17th, 18th & 19th June.

County:

Hard luck to the Waterford minor squad who lost out to Limerick 3-11 to 1-04 in the 4th & final round of the Minor A All Ireland Championship played in Rathkeale Co. Limerick on Sun 3rd April. Brianna O Regan  (goalkeeper) Caoimhe Drohan (half back) Courtney Healy (half back) Beth Carton (centre forward 1-04) Niamh Murphy (corner forward), Aisling Madigan (used sub)Chloe Dempsey & Colette Hogan (subs) Joey Carton (mentor). 1 win (Galway 2pts) & 3 defeats (Cork 3pts, Wexford 2pts, Limerick 13pts) from the group stages.
